What is Tenmore?
Tenmore, an outdoor apparel brand, emerged on the scene in the winter of 2023, founded by Carter Busby, a 20-year-old entrepreneur hailing from Huntsville, AL. When queried about the inspiration behind launching the brand, Carter explained,
"It's simple. I love the outdoors and I love good clothes, so I had to create my own. After spending nearly 7 months residing in Jackson, Wyoming, and dedicating countless hours to hiking and hunting in the wilderness, I know what looks good and what feels good. I aspire for Tenmore to be an inspirational brand, particularly for the college-aged demographic. 'Tenmore' serves as a rallying cry to venture outdoors and embrace life freely. The genesis of the phrase 'ten more' occurred during a hike up Mount Antero, a 14,000-foot peak in Colorado. It happened during a youth group expedition, sans phones, maps, or any means of determining our location. When we inquired about the remaining distance to our guides, the unwavering response was always 'Ten More.' This phrase has stayed with me even five years later. Ten more miles? Ten more minutes? Ten more hours? That's the essence — sometimes it's better not to know and to continuously forge ahead."
